The aim was to form motifs and melodies (again), but not in neo-romantic way, also not as minimal music, but with self-constructed scales (FluteChambers) and as 12-tone-pieces (Nachtstücke / Nocturnes). The flute is joined by electronics, and other instruments are added: percussion in the last piece, synthesizer and keys in the Nocturnes. Perhaps this album offers a strange way between classical music, jazz and folk. Oh, I love strange ways!
The Nocturnes were written about 2005, the FluteChambers some years later. I recorded and mastered the pieces in my project studio (Label phonector, Berlin).
